Robert Burke serves as a Project Manager for the LINK team. Robert initially joined LINK as an Associate back in September 2021, but after working with LINK for over a year and a half, he accepted full-time employment as a Project Manager.

Robert has always been a strong social media manager, with prior work experience with both the Nonprofit Village and the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington. Robert continues to use and grow his social media expertise today as a part of LINK’s internal social media team, as well as managing social media accounts for many of LINK’s clients such as My School DC, Montgomery County Health Services, May Jung Law Firm, Dupont Underground, and more.

Additionally, Robert has gained a plethora of experience as a project manager while working with LINK. He initially started managing one project as an Associate, but since becoming a project manager has taken leaps and bounds in his management ability. Robert has vastly improved as both a leader and a teammate, managing on larger projects with the PG County Government, My Child Care DC, Georgetown Transportation, Washington Regional Association of Grantmakers, and many more to come.

Robert is passionate about equity and belonging, especially for BIPOC communities. He wishes to help serve and amplify the voices of underrepresented communities all throughout his work. He has worked with education-based clients such as DC Public Schools, My School DC, and Guilford County Schools. Robert cares deeply about access to education, and hopes to improve that access one step at a time through his work on these projects.

Robert was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, and has a love for representing the DMV community. He is an alumnus of the University of Maryland: College Park campus, and graduated with a double major from the Robert H. Smith School of Business in Marketing and Information Systems. Working with LINK has been his most fulfilling career move as of yet, and he is excited for all of the possibilities this project manager role has to offer. Robert is currently working to build on his data analytics skills to help fill a growing need for LINK. Robert is also a massive supporter of international travel, and often finds himself across the pond in London, England. He hopes one day to relocate to the UK, as he has fallen in love with the culture and landscapes overseas.
