Janee Brown is a Senior Project Manager at LINK. In her role, she supports communications strategy, planning, and execution across a range of clients and industries, including the restaurant industry, healthcare, education, sports, and community-focused organizations. Her work spans strategic messaging, integrated communications planning, social media strategy and content coordination, event planning and execution, international engagement initiatives, and cross-collaboration with LINK’s media, digital, and production teams to bring high-impact programs and experiences to life.
Prior to joining LINK, Janee worked on the Business Development team for the Washington Commanders, where she managed and cultivated strategic relationships that supported partnership development and revenue generation. She also served as an inaugural board member of the Black Engagement Network, helping design and execute initiatives focused on employee engagement, community connection, and engagement with HBCUs. Her time in professional sports strengthened her expertise in client relations, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration, skills she now brings to her work at LINK.
Janee graduated from Robert Morris University, where she was a point guard on the women’s basketball team and contributed to three conference championships. These experiences shaped her leadership style and built a strong foundation in discipline, teamwork, and performance under pressure.
As a proud Prince George's County native, Janee takes pride in staying connected to her roots and giving back to the community through mentoring young athletes, coaching basketball alongside her husband, and staying active through fitness, including participating in occasional local 5Ks.
